Bluestone Management and Consulting was created with one simple concept, to make customer’s lives easier by providing service that is customized. We strive to be your one-stop partner for your facility maintenance needs.

Our Story

Long before Bluestone Management was even a vision, Lloyd Stern, one of Bluestone’s Founders, was a Facility Manager for two major national chains.  During his time on this side of the business, he learned there were few companies able to deliver the elevated expectations and work ethic that he held for his clients. 

After many years, Lloyd decided to go to the provider side of the business to put his knowledge into helping clients achieve their maintenance and construction goals. 

In the years that followed, he started and successfully ran several facility management divisions and companies, but none truly had his vision of what a facility management company could and should be. 

In September 2016, Lloyd and his wife embarked on a new journey starting Bluestone Management and Consulting, named after a family legacy.  Bluestone’s goal is to provide an elevated level of service and communication but also to build relationships and trust.  We do this by taking care of our clients as if they are family. This work ethic has proven successful on both the provider and client-side.

Director of Operations

Summer started her career in Facilities 14 years ago when she first started working with Lloyd as a Facility Coordinator. Since then, she has held various positions, including project manager & senior facility manager, both on the client and contractor side of the facilities business. In her current role of Director of Operations, she is responsible for ensuring all of our clients’ needs are met to Bluestone’s standards through proactive management of our entire facilities team.
